Artful Parties and Events began in a carriage house when Lou Ann Dunn and Marj Morrow came together with a common love for entertaining guests in 1989. In the fall of 1991 they moved their operation to their current building where they have been flourishing ever since.
Artful Parties and Events, Inc. is a floral design company with full floral services. We offer a complete line of balloons from single balloons and arches, to complex sculptures. We also offer a limited line of rentals in order to enhance your event. Artful Parties and Events has also been nominated for two Gala Awards by Special Events Magazine, for Most Imaginative Invitation. Artful Parties strives to give you to best value for your needs. December 1994 to November 2006
Daisy Ann was an American Border Collie whose job was to meet and greet guests and clients. Her canine duties included but were not limited to meeting Fed Ex and UPS delivery men. Daisy was always ready to accommodate anyone willing to throw a ball. We loved her deeply.

Sophie Rose our sassy and silly, three year old terrior mix joined the Artful Family in March of 2007. She is still in training, for she had very large shoes to fill, but she has won our hearts with her antics and personality. Instead of meet & greet duties, Sophie has decided her forte is as an alert dog, making sure that we're aware when someone enters the store.

Lou Ann Dunn Owner of Artful Parties and Events, was among the first 400 people in the world to receive the designation of CBA, certified balloon artist, from Pioneer Balloon Company. She has been an active member of the Association of Bridal Consultants since 1992. In 1999 she attained the status of Master Bridal Consultant.
Lou Ann has advanced training in all phases of floral and wedding floral design. Her professional memberships include the International Caterers Association and the International Special Event Society. She had appeared in the “Ask the Experts” column of Brides Magazine. Lou Ann attends as many educational offerings as she can find in the event industry. She enjoys being as current as possible so that our services reflect the very latest in products and techniques.

Amy Roraback joined Artful Parties and Events in November of 2000. Since joining, Amy has become the in-house expert on balloons. She earned the CBA or Certified Balloon Artist designation from Pioneer Balloon Company in January of 2001, which involved five written exams and an extensive practical exam. In May of that same year Amy also earned her Bachelor of Arts in business management from Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kansas. In her spare time, Amy attends as many educational offerings as she can find in the latest balloon and floral trends. She is as current as possible on the latest in the industry so that our services reflect the very latest in products and techniques.
